IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances - Advanced Topics

kurz

Základní info

This 3-day instructor-led course teaches advanced topics in using the IBM WebSphere DataPower Integration Appliance XI50 as an enterprise service bus (ESB) and integrating DataPower SOA Appliances with other software products.
An ESB enables a business to use a comprehensive, flexible, and consistent approach to integration by unifying message-oriented, event-driven, and service-oriented approaches for integrating applications and services. Using an ESB also reduces the complexity of the applications that are being integrated.
Through a combination of instructor-led lectures and hands-on lab exercises, students learn how to use the IBM WebSphere DataPower Integration Appliance XI50 as a purpose-built hardware ESB for simplified deployment and hardened security. Topics include integrating with IBM WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Java Messaging Service (JMS), using FTP, enriching messages with database data, and performing any-to-any or binary transformation using IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender and Contivo Analyst mappings.
This course also teaches students how to integrate IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances with other IBM and third-party software, including IBM Tivoli Access Manager, IBM DB2, IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository, and Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) registries. Finally, students learn how to process SOAP attachments using the Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism (MTOM).
The content of this course applies primarily to the WebSphere DataPower Integration Appliance XI50, but some topics are also applicable to the WebSphere DataPower XML Security Gateway XS40.
Určeno pro
This intermediate course is for implementers responsible for implementing IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances as an ESB, or for integrating them with other IBM and third-party software.
