AS13100 Supplemental Quality Management System Requirements

AS13100™A: AESQ Supplemental Quality Management System Requirements simplifies and harmonizes the aerospace engine manufacturer requirements to its shared supply chain, including those requirements flowed to the engine manufacturers systems by regulators, customers, industry, and business specific requirements.   Suppliers with multiple customers will learn how AS13100A minimizes requirements and improves overall product quality by focusing on the key quality systems and processes. Through the creation of a common language for quality across the industry, participants will understand how it will impact their compliance to customer requirements and benefit their business performance.

The AS13100A Requirements course will provide knowledge and insight for each of the AESQ supplemental requirements within AS13100A. The modules will guide participants through each section of the standard and provide knowledge that helps the individual design, maintain, and assess business processes that meet the intent of the standard and add value to the business. Participants must successfully complete the course along with the learning assessment to review a Certificate of Completion and Continuing Education Units.

This course partially satisfies the requirements prescribed in AS13100A 7.2.4 which states, “As a minimum, the training plan should include AS13100A Requirement and AS13100A Foundations courses for relevant personnel.” Learner may also wish to take C2112 Quality Foundations for a deeper dive into the tools of AS13100A, and as part of the requirement for the organization’s cross functional training plan..
